I wanted to write a quick post about a great website that tailors to my area. Based out of Villa Park Illinois, Mashup Mom has great information not only for Northwest Indiana, but Chicagoland as well. Finally, a place that I can call home.
When reading about Rachel, the creator, you learn that she’s a former librarian. It shows. Her site is easy to navigate and thorough. Complete with match-ups, informative posts, online deals, and much more.
A super feature is Crunchy Friday which rounds up the week’s best organic, natural, green, and gluten and other allergen free deals. Including a list of links to coupons on these items. This is something that I rarely see in conjunction with couponing.
One of the highlights is a printable list for each store. What’s so spiffy about these lists? You can customize it quite a bit. Who doesn’t want to save ink! Just look for this button at the bottom of the post you’d like to print. 
A few of the stores I had been wanting to find match-ups for were: Jewel-Osco, Strack & Van Til, Ultra (Town & Country), and Meijer. They can all be found there and many more. So, check this site out if you live in these areas. Mashupmom.com

StandardThanks The Savings Momma for the great tips for saving money on organics and compiling a list of Organic Coupon Sources. I think one of the main concerns people have with couponing is the idea that you can only save on processed foods. I will agree, that is where a lot of the savings are. Along with personal care items. You can find a coupon for almost anything these days, but it would be nice to see more coupons for items in the produce section. This is just a quick post to let those of you that don’t know, if you register at AllYou.com, you can get a daily email in which you will be able to try a new sample…every day! Today’s Free Sample: Free Sample of Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food. Yesterday’s: Free Emergen-C Kidz Drink Mix Sample. Last Wednesday it was: Free Sample of Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light. I love free samples, so I had to share!
There is more than free samples to this website, so check it out. You might find a DIY Valentine’s gift idea, yummy recipes, and plenty of great information. In case you didn’t know, All You is a magazine that is offered by Walmart or online only. It usually has about $75.00 worth of coupons in it. This magazine has a new issue each month.
